I'm often asked how I got started...
Since a young age, I have always had a love for arts, crafts, and the countryside.
I decided to take it to the next level, studying art and textiles, which inevitably led me to create 'Country Kate' in 2015. I began by making all the items by hand, but soon realised that I couldn't keep up with the customer demand.
Now I support and sell from a huge number of British craft businesses and house them all inside my treasure trove three-room shop!
All items are sourced because of their handmade nature and in support small independent businesses. We travel up and down the country searching for our goods. Whilst we try to source what we can from the UK, the few items we source elsewhere are fair-trade and ethically sourced.
I still live in a cottage, surrounded by woods, fields, and farm animals. My love for all things art, craft, and countryside continues to grow every day!
