I began this year with a fire in my belly and a thirst to make my little dream business bigger and better! I was blown away by such a busy November and December and still feel so incredibly grateful for everyones support, likes, recommendations and purchases. Every single one makes me so indescribably happy, and thankful to have you all.
I closed the shop for 2 weeks over the Christmas break to say a big thank you to my lovely team members and to spend precious time with our families over the festive period. During this time I made notes, had ideas and wrote a list of what I wanted to create for Country Kate.
One of my must haves was new shop front signage. I knew Nicola over at Kinver Designs would know how to put my vision into physicality. She of course knew a guy- the incredibly talented Nick!
Nick's rare talent blew me away. He handprints onto the highest quality wood, seals it, weatherproofs it- and the end result blew me away!
Every flower and letter is hand painted- and it reflects everything I want my little shop to represent: Handmade, British made and top quality!
I hope you love it as much as I do.
This fire is still in me and I wake up every morning thinking about how to always improve and move forward with Country Kate- and to ultimately give back to such a welcoming and supportive community!
